Hello, I live out side of a town called Bulington WV, on a little road named Patterson Creek. I was running a Bobcat fixing up my yard when I discovered a old 1851 Colt Navy pistol. The gun is not that bad of shape for being in the ground for 100 in some odd years. I would love to know the history of this gun and why was it in my yard. I know there was a little town called Headsville just up the St. from my home and it was the place where the Smithsonian Museums came and took an old Post Office down in the 60s just to show it in there Museums. I would love to hear from those of you that can help me.....Thanks JC
