Step 6/ Estate Sales Advertising
Here is a check list and a few suggestions.
- Set your Estate Sales Date for a weekend. We advise that you conduct your Estate Sale over the course of at least two days.
- Write your ad copy.
- Check for local newspaper classified ad insertion deadlines.
- Place your Estate sales ad in the largest newspaper in your metropolitan area.
- Most definitely, post an ad on www.craigslist.org. (Do not post your phone number)
- Put flyers up in local shops.
- On the days of your Estate Sale, make sure that you post plenty of directional signs up on utility poles and such, in order to direct buyers to your sale.
