6:00am: You may have noticed that I get up early. It’s just the way I am, the way I am wired…and it works out perfectly well for the Estate Sales Business, because being an Estate Liquidator is not just a job. No, it’s not a 9 to 5 gig…it’s more than a way to make a buck or two…

Being an Estate Sales Professional is a lifestyle decision…and I gladly made that decision 16 years ago, and I have never looked back.

9:00am: Back in my office…after dropping off my son at school in Petaluma, I begin a new writing project in earnest. Today I will rewrite a single page for our local to San Francisco Estate Sales site.

That’s Right: Today I Will Write But A Single Page About Estate Sales!

5:30pm: Why would I take a whole day to write one single page about estate sales? What could possibly take so long to write a single page for a website?

It’s called SEO: The biggest flaw in the estate sales business strategies of most estate liquidators across America, is that they basically do not understand the power of the internet to drive loads of traffic to their websites. What most estate sales people, and even most Antiques Dealers have done is to delegate the task of managing their online presence to others…they’ve taken their collective eye off the prize…that the most important thing we can do as services providers is to make sure that people can find us.

One of the best ways to insure this happens, is to carefully write the content for your web pages…

Put The Time In: Take more control of your online identities folks…don’t give away your local internet juice to national clearing houses of estate sales information. Take notice. There is not a major city in America with the possible exception of my fair city of San Francisco, where Estate Sales.Net does not dominate the local search results for the search term – Estate Sales “Enter Your City Here”

I won’t Go Into All The Reasons Why: Suffice it to say, that the way they do this is because most estate liquidators let them…and believe me when I say this, they are not the only ones out to capture the traffic that so much more rightly belongs to the actual people in your city who really do conduct estate sales. Estate Sales.Net does not conduct estate sales, they are aggregators of information.

6:30pm: I humbly submit, that if you put in the time to write your content in an original manner, you and your Estate Sales Business will reap the reward of then placing very high on Google, in your own city, for the search term Estate Sales…
