Just a wonderful example of late 1930′s – 1940′s stylized genre painting. This painting is a bit like an illustration.

The overall effect is calming and peaceful. The colors, even after this much time has passed are vivid.

This is the kind of painting that could certainly set the tone, or theme of a room.

It is highly decorative.

I looked high and low for any kind of reference about the artist. But alas, none could be found.

This is one of a kind, and visually stunning.

The condition is great with the exception of one very tiny paint fleck.

This painting came out of an old estate in Vallejo, CA.
