Swiss Neuchatel Shelf Clock

Swiss Neuchatel shelf clock with matching wall shelf.

It has its original finish, with hand painted floral designs throughout and gold leaf ball finial at top and bottom.

Dial and Works don’t seem to be original to the clock.

My guess is that sometime in the 1930′s both were replaced.

Watchmakers dates  written on the back are:

11-9-35

9-2-45

This came from the Estate Sale of a Bohemian Baroness in Berkeley,  CA.

She was a memeber of Baroness Sidonie von Borutin Family.
