JMS Taxco Sterling Bowl

Nice Taxco sterling silver bowl, signed JMS. According to the Mexican Silver Trade and Hallmark book, this makers mark is sometimes ascribed  to “Tane.”

Whether crafted by Tane, or one of the smaller Taxco silver artisans, this is a fine bowl for table, or display.

This bowl features flared fluted sides, which end very nicely with a scrolled border.
